Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appear in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present)
Synopsis
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy a 1920s Spanish-style villa, which they think will solve all their problems. If you look at this show through a narrative lens, the pieces don’t fit.
There were a lot of red herrings
We dive so deeply into each character’s backstory that the overall story doesn’t feel strong enough to stay on track. It all comes together in the end.
It would certainly be stronger without the ensemble cast
I understand why they did that because there are a lot of familiar faces. There were some weak characters, both in terms of writing and acting.
The best part so far
Some others seem to struggle with the balance between comedy and drama. I think it’s time for Netflix to give Linda Cardellini her own show.
