At no point in the show does he show any emotion, which makes you hate his character
Eddie Redmayne was truly brilliant in this series, he lived up to all the characters he plays in the series and is a great villain, yet you always root for him… because the female lead (Lynch) is not great… . he comes across as incredibly arrogant and cold, even to his own family and coworkers, and there’s no way you want him to get caught.
I really hope there’s another season, but I think they need to rethink the female lead
The jackal, however, you see two sides, his murderous side, but then the side that involves his family, where you understand him a little better. I really liked the shots in different locations in Europe and the fact that the jackal knows all these different languages.
