Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross
Synopsis
The series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. He follows in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first portrayed him in the 1997 film Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 film sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in the 2012 film Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the previously planned sequel Double Cross.
Ryan Eggold did not disappoint and made the part blindingly good
I’m a fan of the Alex Cross books and it was a pleasure to finally see an actor who fit the bill. He played the character well with just the right amount of aggression and emotion.
He showed how versatile he can be with The Blacklist and New Amsterdam
I would have given it a much higher score if I could have seen who was on screen at any given time. The lighting technician laughed in the dark, outside of the moody and atmospheric lighting.
It was dark and often made the show difficult to watch
I liked the plot, but I hated the lack of lighting to follow the story. I hope there is a second season and they read all the reviews.
